My career started in the hospitality industry at SeaWorld in 79. I moved to Kuwait in 80 to work with British Airways and Gulf Air. In 82 I joined the WDW Buena Vista Palace and Royal Plaza Resorts. I started my career with Alamo Rent A Car in 84 and held various management positions throughout the country and at the corporate headquarters. In 96, I joined Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group and held various management positions as well...

In 1999 I became more involved in the community and the hospitality industry in general building very good business relationships with various leaders in the area. I served on many notable boards in different capacities including chairman and treasurer as well as business advisor for different associations, chambers and community programs in the Florida.

Some of my notable achievement in the industry was the 2004 Associate Member of the Year award by The CFCA and the 2007 Allied member of the year award by CFHLA. Also, as the chairman of the Adopt a School Program at DTAG, I was honored to receive on behalf of the company DTAG the Orlando Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group the “2007-2008 Company of the Year” award.

In 2008, towards the middle of the year, I decided to lease Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group and run GMF Consulting, Inc. which was established in 1995 and was operating as a small business...  I can be reached via my e-mail at George@gmfconsulting.com
